This piece still needs finessing, but in the process it provides an outlet for expressing my deep concern over the terrible problem we are having here in Florida with toxic algae in our waters, rivers, canals. Her hair I imagined as a rainbow colored mop of glistening sponge absorbing the toxins as she swims tirelessly throughout, saving and healing the sacred life beneath, a world in and of itself, yet so necessary for our own existence. It's my little prayer in picture form.
